Yogyakarta Night Food Tour

Indonesia has some of the best food in all of Asia and much of it is well known such as Nasi Goreng, Gado Gado and Sate. If you want to experience less well known, but nonetheless delicious, Indonesian street food then this night tour of Yogyakarta is a perfect addition to a stay in the city. In the company of an expert guide you will have the chance to sample local specialities such as Gudeg, which is a jackfruit curry, spring rolls from a local vendor and for something sweet Klepon - a sticky rice ball cake made out of melted coconut sugar. Along with the food this tour will also explore some of the most vibrant and historic parts of the city including Malioboro Street and Little Chinatown as well as experiencing the atmosphere of the city as it comes to life at night with the sound of local musicians and people playing games on the street.

If you have visited the Temples of Borobudur in the morning this tour would be a great way to end the day. The start and finish point is the Phoenix Hotel but it is possible to be dropped off at a different hotel.
