Diving & snorkelling at Koh Tao

Koh Tao is one of Thailand’s premier spots for underwater life. The coral reefs around Koh Tao teem with marine life including turtles, reef sharks, barracuda, and many varieties of colourful reef fish. Whale sharks have also been sighted in these waters.

For those who cannot or do not wish to dive, the snorkelling opportunities are also spectacular. The rugged coastline of Koh Tao hides many incredible snorkelling spots right off the beach and several nearby islands boast impressive coral reefs, such as the Japanese Gardens just off Koh Nang Yuan.
