Go snorkelling by day or night

Most resorts in the Maldives are surrounded by spectacular coral reefs. With such a variety of marine life right on your doorstop it couldn’t be easier to explore this underwater world. You can borrow equipment from your resort, or bring your own from home, and just set off from your resort on your own to see what you can spot. Or you can arrange a trip further out with a guide who will be able to take you to the best places and point out the different species.

Some resorts can also take you out on an exciting night snorkelling trip, where you will see the otherworldly underwater landscapes in a totally new way, atmospherically lit by natural bioluminescence.
