Come face-to-face with an Orangutan

No tour of Borneo would be complete without a seeing the greatest of great apes in their natural habitat. Seeing wild orangutans swing from tree to tree is truly a special experience which will live forever in your memory. The best places to see a wild orangutan is from a boat on the Kinabatangan River or trekking in the pristine jungle of central Sabah. A viewing in the wild can never be guaranteed however, so we always recommend also visiting one of the orangutan rehabilitation centres at Semenggoh and Sepilok (or both),  where you are guaranteed to see them.
