Bird-watching in the Cameron Highlands

Rise early and be out of the hotel by 7.30am for a morning bird-watching tour around the Cameron Highlands region. Using a 4WD vehicle to navigate smaller forest tracks, and accompanied by a specialist birding guide, the excursion will last around four hours, during which time you will pass through two or three different spots in an attempt to observe a range of species over various elevations and habitats. The morning will end with a hearty lunch in a local restaurant, after which you can continue exploring the region – it’s rolling hills, tea plantations, hiking trails, and unique flora and fauna – in the company of your driver-guide.
