See the world's largest flower

The remote forests of Borneo are the best place to come across the spectacular Rafflesia - a plant with no roots or stem and the biggest flower in the world (on occasion, known to be over a metre in diameter). You have to be lucky to see one though. Arguably the best place to look is in the Gunung Gading National Park near Kuching although other places in Sabah and Sarawak, such as the Kinabalu and Mulu National Parks are also worth checking.  Beware though, when the flower is in bloom, it has a powerful smell of rotting meat! Let your consultant know you’re interested in seeing a Rafflesia flower and we’ll do our best to find one for you…
