Sirubari Homestay

There is perhaps no better way to truly experience the culture of a country that to spend time with the people who live within it. This experience offers you the opportunity to spend a night (or two!) in a traditional Nepali village. Upon arrival in Sirubari you will be welcomed by the village lama, and introduced to your hosts who will show you around their traditional dwelling where you will staying. This sustainable tourism project is the first of its kind in Nepal and is run by the local community in an effort to preserve the culture and heritage of Nepali rural life. You will have time to explore the village and to spend some time with your hosts who will also be your chefs for the duration of your stay, providing you with a taste of truly authentic Nepali cuisine.
