En-route, stop for a few days to explore the colonial retreat of the Cameron Highlands. For the second half of the itinerary fly to Sabah in Malaysian Borneo for a real wildlife adventure. Explore the intense and tantalising rainforest surrounding the Kinabatangan River, come face to face with one of the world's most delightful creatures, the orangutan, in Sepilok, and go wildlife hunting in the Tabin Wildlife Reserve, before finally putting your feet up on the beautiful beaches of Gaya Island.
