Phuket's countryside by bike

On this tour head to Phuket’s north-eastern corner which is renowned for its stunning scenery and its small traditional Thai villages. Here you will take to two wheels which allows you to get up close and personal with nature. Along the way you will have an opportunity to visit the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project. At this conservation effort you can find out how wildlife advocates care for rescued gibbons before they are released back into the wild. Afterwards continue on small country roads, passing palm, pineapple and rubber tree plantations that are all vital sources of income for the locals. Cycling along dirt tracks, this route does include a few gentle hills but it provides for a very rewarding experience and a deeper insight into rural life on Phuket Island.
