Sunset cruise on the Irrawaddy
As the daylight starts to fade head down to the river bank and board a private boat to watch the sunset on the Irrawaddy. As this time of day you will see groups of children swimming and mothers cleaning clothes or washing pots and pans. You will cruise for around an hour, with a sundowner in hand, as you enjoy one of the simple joys of being close to the Irrawaddy River. Sunset cruises are more prevalent in Bagan but also possible in Mandalay.
