Situated on the Bruwan plateau and surrounded by mountains in the Taroko National Park, the Taroko Village Hotel is an atmospheric place to stay. It is styled around a traditional tribal village with stand-alone en-suite aboriginal style wooden cabins with comfortable futon style bedding (i.e. a matress on the floor). A variety of entertainment is laid on by the friendly staff and there are some great treks which can be taken from the resort.
