Dating from 1857, the Gateway Conoor is one of the oldest buildings in the atmospheric former hill station of Coonoor. The building has been carefully renovated to retain its old character while offering modern amenities. The 32 rooms and four suites are set amidst lush green lawns and offer unique panoramic views of the tea plantations which surround the town. Several active excursions can be arranged through the hotel or guests can chose to relax on the lawns with a book or unwind in the hotel’s Ayurveda centre.
