Situated high up in the hills above Wayanad, Amaryllis is a small boutique homestay overlooking the backwaters of the Karapuzha Reservoir, and with the Western Ghats in the background, the views are truly spectacular. The family have a total of five guest rooms and two larger tree villas. These rooms are simple, but very spacious, and ensuite. Guests are treated as part of the family - all meals are taken communally, usually a fine spread of delicious home-cooked Keralan fare. Down-time can be spent lazing around the pool, enjoying tea on the verandah, or taking in part in range of thoughtful activities such as walks, farm tours, cycling and birdwatching.
