Raas is Jodphur’s most exciting hotel. A modern, boutique property in the heart of the old city, the hotel has 39 light-filled rooms, most of which have fabulous views of Mehrangarh. The hotel was ambitiously converted from four 19th century haveli buildings, with original rose-red sandstone and carving work retained in places, mixed with bold modernist design in others. There is a good sized pool which sits alongside an open courtyard restaurant, also surrounded by attractive gardens. The onsite spa is without doubt the finest in the city, while rooftop Darikhana restaurant has a reputation for outstanding modern Indian cuisine.
