As the only high-end resort in the remote Laamu Atoll the Six Senses Laamu is a real castaway paradise. The transfer from Malé International Airport is a 35-minute flight followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride, but the extra effort it takes to get here is rewarded by the pristine landscapes.

There are 97 spacious villas, located on the beach or over the water. All villas are constructed form natural materials, and feature private decks and semi outdoor bathrooms complete with open-air rain showers.

Guests have a choice of three restaurants, serving a range of European, Maldivian, and Asian cuisines. There are also a choice of bars and an ice-cream studio with over 40 flavours, perfect for those hot days! The Six Senses Spa has nine treatment rooms, set in the garden and on the beachfront. A range of experiences can be arranged at the resort, including diving, snorkelling, cruises, fishing, and island excursions.

The Six Senses brand always puts a great importance on being sustainable, and Laamu is no exception. Everything is constructed from natural materials, and the resort works hard to be self-sufficient and zero-waste.
