Makunudu Island is a low-key and intimate Maldivian-style resort situated in North Malé Atoll, a 50-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport. There are just 36 beachfront bungalows, keeping the island sparsely populated and peaceful at all times. The bungalows are simple and locally styled, crafted with traditional materials and earthy hues, using local wood and stone.
