Baros is one of the finest and most luxurious island resorts in the Maldives and has won awards for its outstanding service. Located on a small Coral Island in North Malé Atoll, it is just a 25-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport.

Baros has 75 villas in total, all spacious and furnished with everything you could require from a wine chiller to yoga mats. There are 24 Deluxe Villas (89m²) located by the beach; 15 Water Villas (92m²) set over the glistening ocean; eight Baros Villas (103m²) in a more private location, each surrounded by tropical vegetation with a large wooden deck and a private walled garden; eight Baros Pool Villas (134m²) with a pool in their own private garden; 15 Water Pool Villas (126m²), like the water villas but with their own private 6.6 x 3.6m pool; four Baros Suites (200m²), with a secluded location and private pool; and finally the sumptuous Baros Residence (270m²), complete with its own private stretch of beach!

There are a large range of facilities for guests to make use of at the resort, including a dive centre offering PADI certified SCUBA diving courses, a library, table tennis and a fully equipped spa. Guests have a choice of two bars and three sophisticated restaurants at Baros, including the iconic over-water Lighthouse Restaurant offering fine-dining gourmet cuisine. Private destination dining can also be arranged. Baros is ideal for honeymooners or those after an extremely luxurious and romantic getaway. Children below the age of eight are not allowed at this resort.
