Traditional Homes Swotha is a charming boutique hotel set in a period Newari Townhouse in the heart of Patan’s medieval centre in southern Kathmandu. The property has nine spacious rooms decorated in a traditional style with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and complimentary Wi-Fi. Most of the rooms have private terraces or balconies with views over the rooftops of Patan. On the ground floor there is a restaurant serving an excellent choice of local and international cuisine, including many organic products, and on the rooftop there is a terrace with panoramic views of Kathmandu and the Himalayas on a clear day. Please be aware that the ceilings are quite low in some of the rooms of this ancient building.
