Gora Kadan

The Gora Kadan is one of Japan’s most exclusive ryokans and provides a real taste of luxury in any Japan tour. The main building is steeped in history, being the former summer residence of the Imperial family and the newer building which adjoins it has impressive Japanese style rooms with tatami matting and many with their own private Cyprus wood hot spring bathtubs. The food at Gora Kadan is very high quality and each evening you will be treated to a delicious kaiseki meal - an artistically beautiful, multi-dish, Japanese feast – prepared by some of the country’s best chefs. Meals are served in the traditional manor on a low table in the comfort of your room. Gora Kadan is also very well located for exploring the hot spring town of Gora and the wider Hakone National Park area.
