Situated 160 miles northeast of Singapore, Bawah Reserve is an intimate, luxurious retreat consisting of 6 islands which cover 300 hectares, 13 beaches and 3 lagoons. Bawah is home to 35 luxury suites that offer the ultimate private island experience. Lining the south-facing coast of the reserve, the chic bamboo tented Beach & Deluxe suites are steps from the pristine sandy beach. Nestled behind the Beach suites are the Garden Suites and set above the turquoise-blue lagoon are the Overwater Bungalows. All suites & bungalows are equipped with canopy beds, copper bathtubs and other luxurious features designed to make your stay extra special. Dining takes place at either Treetops Restaurant or the Boat House and there are two bars - the Grouper Bar & Jules Verne Bar - where guests can unwind. Experiences are part of the stay at Bawah and apart from the swimming pool and tennis court, guests can choose from activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, diving, hiking, stargazing, library games, outdoor cinema, BBQs nights and sunset island cruises. Access to Bawah begins in Singapore with a limousine pick up from your hotel or the airport. The resort's travel coordinator will then escort you by ferry and car to Batam Airport where you board a private sea plane. After an 80-minute flight you will land in the reserve's beautiful lagoon right in front of your suite.
