The Judge's Court
The atmospheric Judge's Court is a charming heritage hotel in the small village of Pragpur. This is sprawling family home is named after the grandfather of present owners who was the senior judge of the local area. The family still live on site, and everywhere there are signs of former grandeur. The 10 rooms are somewhat tired but reflect the general atmosphere of the place with period wooden furniture and antique furnishings. The property is set in around 12 acres of private garden, which guests are encouraged to explore. The local area also offers opportunities for trekking, fishing, cycling and bird-watching (all can be organised and paid for through the hotel) meaning there is plenty to keep you occupied with a day at leisure here.
