Dera Mandawa is a 110-year old property, owned by an aristocratic Rajput family who have opened the doors of their beautiful, characterful haveli to the wider world. Sat just outside the walls of the Pink City, the property occupies a small network of buildings, surrounding a sunlit open courtyard, in the very heart of the Rajasthani capital. Accommodation is in 9 large suites, each equally comfortable and well-equipped, but all with their own unique flavour. The engaging owners still live onsite and are heavily involved – whether organising an onsite cooking class, invited guests to fly kites from the upper balconies, or regaling with stories of Jaipur’s heritage.
