Located high on the slopes of Meesapulimalai, the second highest peak in the Western Ghats, Camp Footprint is a unique stay for the young, young at heart or those simply seeking adventure. The property is only accessible by dirt track and some or all the 3km distance will need to be traversed on foot, a pleasurable walk but one that requires a moderate level of fitness. The remote location provides some great opportunities for walks and birdwatching but some modern creature comforts have to be sacrificed, such as Wi-Fi. The three fixed teepee style accommodation are equipped with en suite bathroom and guests are treated to wholesome food using locally sourced ingredients during their stay.
