Narlai

Narlai is a picturesque village in the Pali district of Rajasthan, roughly equidistant between Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Udaipur. The town is dominated by a striking rocky outcrop, crowned by a white stone elephant, and is home to several prominent Jain and Hindu temples. The town is most well-known for the Rawla Narlai hotel - one of the most famous heritage properties in Rajasthan. This small enclave is a fine spot to break a journey between large cities and enjoy a laidback, rural pace of life. The surrounding countryside is stunning: pretty villages are peopled with bubbly locals, linked through fields and farms separated by winding tracks and low stone walls.
