Karauli

Karauli is a small city in a lesser visited area of Rajasthan best known for its palace - a treasure trove of architecture, stone carvings, gorgeous Jali work and paintings. The palace’s temple is one of the most mesmerising ‘live temples’ in Rajasthan where you can often catch local devotees singing and dancing there in the evenings, in praise of Lord Krishna.

Karauli makes for a great pit stop for those looking to break up the journey between Agra and Jaipur or Ranthambore.
