Located just two hours from Ho Chi Minh City, the small town of Cai Be is a starting point for a number of cruises in the wider Mekong Delta area.

Although not as large as the busier Cai Rang Floating Market in nearby Can Tho, the Cai Be Floating Market is included on many cruise itineraries and is a fascinating way to start the day. Most people just pass through Cai Be in order to embark on one of the smaller overnight cruises through the Mekong Delta, but there is comfortable accommodation at the Mekong Lodge and Mekong Riverside Resort for those who wish to stay longer.
