Qui Nhon (also known as Quy Nhon) has a terrific stretch of beach with several chic resorts. Outside of the city it still maintains the feel of a quiet fishing village, and offers a degree of authenticity lost from some of Vietnam’s more developed resort areas. The coast is dotted with fishing villages and the area is famous for its exceptional seafood. As well as some charming beaches and coves the area is also home to the ancient Thap Doi Cham Towers.
The resort can be reached by a short flight from Ho Chi Minh City, a 6 hour drive from Hoi An, or trains from the north or south of the country. To travel in style, take the luxury Vietage train, which connects Qui Nhon with Danang.
