Villa Angela Heritage House
When staying in an atmospheric, well-preserved, colonial town, it’s probably best to stay in an atmospheric, well-preserved, colonial hotel - and this place fits the bill perfectly. The Villa Angela Heritage House was built in 1870 and has been a hub for Vigan’s social activity over the years. In this quaint North Luzon town the hotel is an attraction in itself and has played host to numerous celebrities, including Tom Cruise and Willem Dafoe. The house has been elegantly restored, with wooden floors, classic fittings, and antique colonial furniture adding to the sense of history and prestige. Rooms are basic but well-maintained, with large four-poster beds and views over the lush, peaceful courtyard gardens. There is an excellent onsite restaurant, and Vigan's historic cobblestone streets are just a stroll away.

Our Opinion
An historic hotel that compliments your time in this charming town better than any other. Although the accommodation is somewhat dated, a stay at the Villa Angela is truly memorable.
