The Lanjia, or ‘peaceful’ in Hmong language, is an eco-friendly community-based lodge nestled high on a hill in Chiang Rai Province, northern Thailand. It offers hill tribe holidays that combine hill tribe experience with eco-friendly tours such as hiking, tree planting and Hmong batik class. The lodge has 4 guest cottages with a total of 16 guest rooms. Accommodation is simple - basic fan rooms with mosquito nets and private bathrooms - but the views available, and the hospitality, are second to none. Your hosts at the Lanjia Lodge are the proud Hmong and Lahu villagers who take care of all visitors and all activities at the lodge during your stay. All visitors are taken on personal tours of the villages where they can freely intermingle and even meet the local shamans.
