The Jetwing Lighthouse is a modern, chic hotel on the coast itself, around 2km from Galle's famous fort. The large, spacious property has a wide footprint, with several buildings and two swimming pools spread out over the verdant grounds. The resort has its own private beach which, although not ideal for swimming, is good for relaxation. At the end of each day the sea gives way to often glorious sunsets, which can be enjoyed from all rooms. Service is of a very high standard, with a range of dining options, spa treatments, and local excursions all on hand from the accommodating staff.
