The Big Game Camp at Udawalawe is located in a sizable clearing that is close to a man-made reservoir which is visited by many species of birds and other animals. The camp area is dotted with comfortable sleeping tents and a main restaurant tent. Each tent has been carefully spaced out to create a convivial environment for enjoyment of the natural surroundings. The fan cooled tents can be sealed and come with raised beds with a mattress, pillows and bed linen. The attached bathroom has a shower, toilet and towels.The Uda Walawe National Park is a very popular location for Sri Lankan elephants and most visitors will have the exhilarating experience of seeing herds of elephants congregate near watering holes to drink.

For additional comforts, ask your consultant about upgrading to the Mahoora tented camp which has larger tents and a more premium experience. The Mahoora camp is found next to the Big Game camp and is under the same ownership.
