Ahas Pokuna is a unique tented camp, situated close to Uda Walawe National Park in the low hills of the southern hill country. The camp focuses on bush walks, taken in a completely pristine environment which crosses over a mosaic of habitats: grasslands, caves, watering holes, and forests. Walks are led by professional naturalists and expert bushmen whose ties to the area go back generations. Accommodation is in tented 'suites', consisting of an lounge deck, sleeping tent, and private bathrooms with flushable toilets, in-door showers, and Sri Lanka's first-ever bush bath tubs!  A stay is inclusive of all meals, served in a common dining tent around an outdoor fire. There are plenty of private spaces within the boundaries for reading, relaxing, and enjoying fine food and drink during down time.
