Bensbach Wildlife Lodge
In the remote, and sparsely populated, Western Province of Papua New Guinea you will find Bensbach Wilderness Lodge. The lodge has been built using local materials and has eight rooms, in two separate wings, that offer 220V electricity, ceiling fans, and a private bathroom with hot and cold water. Each wing is linked to the main lodge building that houses the dining area, a well stocked bar and a comfortable lounge. The dinner menu features freshly caught Bensbach Barramundi and venison purchased from local hunters. Birding, fishing and cultural touring is undertaken in small power boats with experienced skippers and accompanied by knowledgeable local guides. The lodge is accessed by charter flights from either Mount Hagen, Port Moresby or Daru.
