Gorkha Gaun is a comfortable lodge from which to explore this most dramatic and historic region. Situated on a high ridge around 15 minutes’ up from Gorkha Bazaar, the property enjoys epic and completely unobstructed views of the valley and beyond. Accommodation is in 10 comfortable cottages, simply but attractively furnished using local materials and ethnic motifs, all ensuite with 24-hour running hot water. At the top of the resort is an indoor dining hall, with attached bar, and also an outdoor barbeque area. A range of walks are available immediately from the grounds.
