The Putao Trekking House is an excellent base from which to explore one of Myanmar's most spectacular and remote areas. Built in a traditional local style, and staffed by some very friendly and knowledgable local people, the Putao Trekking House offers visitors both comfort and adventure during their stay in Putao. The simple rooms have a private bathroom, whilst the restaurant offer a variety of Burmese and Western dishes. Many excursions into the surrounding countryside can be arranged from the Trekking House, including homestays, rafting and overnight treks.
