Inle Princess Resort

A charming luxury resort built partially on the lake and on the lake's eastern shore, the Inle Princess Resort is tastefully built in regional style and is made entirely of wood. The resort's simple yet elegantly appointed wooden chalets (or 'houses') are decorated with traditionally crafted furnishings and locally woven cotton bedspreads and feature a cosy yet spacious living area and a private balcony. All houses feature the following amenities - shower & bathtub, mini bar, hair dryer & IDD phone. They also have a private terrace with either Inle Lake, private lake or mountain views. The Princess Houses are some of the most stylish accommodation in the Inle Lake region. The resort also offers a dining room and a splendid terrace overlooking the lake serving local specialities, Myanmar, Chinese, Thai as well as tasty western cuisine. The bar is the meeting point of the resort and there is also a souvenir shop and a wine cellar as well as a spa complete with sauna. A recently built swimming pool can be found in the gardens. The hotel has a no-noise policy so no TV's are to be found in the rooms and all boats approaching the resort have to switch off their engines 200 metres from the hotel so as to safeguard the guests' peace and tranquillity.
