The Hotel by the Red Canal is located in a local residential area within proximity of its namesake waterway. The hotel is 15 minutes walk, and 5 minutes drive away, from the centre of Mandalay. All 25 suite rooms are tastefully decorated and divided into 4 different categories, each representing different minority people. The Chin, Kachin, Rakhine and Shan rooms have all slightly different decoration and room size which varies from 33sqm to 36sqm. The room amenities include a bathtub, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, a safety box and a hairdryer. Shan and Kachin Suites have small private balconies overlooking the garden and swimming pool of the hotel. Hotel facilities include a restaurant serving Myanmar, Indian, Chinese and Western food, a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness room.
