Heritage Le Telfair

Set in a former sugar estate on a beautiful south coast beach near the quiet village of Bel Ombre, Heritage Le Telfair is a colonial style luxury hotel with 158 rooms. Named after the Irish botanist who was granted a concession in the area, the resort is designed in a sympathetic style to the neighbouring fine dining restaurant at Heritage Le Château, a former plantation residence dating from 1765. All rooms are exceptionally spacious and decorated in a colonial style with four poster beds, French windows and period fittings. Guests have a wealth of dining choices on the Bel Ombre Estate with three restaurants at the hotel, which include a colonial French Brasserie and a pan Asian restaurant next to the beach, and a further nine options nearby owned by the Heritage group. Access is permitted to sister property Heritage Awali, so the facilities are second to none with eight swimming pools, two Spas, a championship 18-hole and 9-hole golf course, PADI dive centre, three floodlit tennis courts, water sport centre and petanque court to name a few.
