Villa Iseh is an historic villa dating from 1937 with a rural location overlooking the picturesque Sidemen valley in the foothills of Mount Agung. Originally built by German artist Walter Spies, the villa has hosted may artists, writers and poets over the years who were instrumental in shaping Bali’s vibrant cultural scene. The building has three bedrooms, and can be rented as a private villa for friends and family, or individual rooms can be booked whilst sharing the public areas with other guests. Each of the spacious bedrooms is decked out with period timber furniture and decorated with by batik and local artwork. There is an open-air dining area beside the infinity edge swimming pool, with spectacular view of Mount Agung and the terraced rice paddies. A team of staff are on hand to serve home cooked Balinese and Indonesian specialities, and provide assistance with exploring the local area.
