The Jiwa Jawa Resort (formerly known as the Java Banana) is a sleek mountain lodge located in a village high on the slopes of Bromo surrounded by small farms growing potatoes, cabbages & maize. The owners of the lodge are photographers, and the public areas double as a gallery to display an impressive collection of Bromo images. The smart rooms are designed in a contemporary style using dark angular woods, and come with a huge beds and an outdoor area for relaxing. The hotel has a small restaurant serving an interesting range of innovative cuisine, and a Sauna and mountain bikes which can be hired locally.
