Six Senses Paro
Perched on the hillside above the National Museum, Six Senses Paro has been given the nickname ‘Stone Ruins’, due to its location built among the ruins of an old stone fortress. There are 16 spacious suites and four villas, with one, two and three bedroom villas available. Rooms are furnished in gentle wooden tones with traditional Bhutanese design touches, and large windows offer dramatic views over the Paro Valley. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining, and serves delicious local and international cuisine, prepared using produce from the lodge’s own organic vegetable garden. Destination dining can also be arranged inside the ruins of the fortress itself. A heated indoor pool overlooks the valley, and the Six Senses Spa offers an extensive array of spa and wellness treatments.
