Six Senses Gangtey

With just eight suites and one villa, this is one of the smallest of the Six Senses Lodges in Bhutan. Nicknamed the ‘Traditional Birdwatching Bridge’, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views of the Phobjikha Valley and the black-necked cranes which come here to roost in the winter months. The design of the lodge is inspired by traditional Bhutanese farmhouses, of which you can see many in this valley, but the lodge keeps to the classic Six Senses style, with warm wooden furnishings and simple yet cosy rooms and common areas. Food is delicious and prepared using local ingredients. In keeping with other Six Senses hotels, the lodge features a well-equipped spa and wellness program.
