The Kichu Resort is a charming small hotel situated about 6 miles from the ruined dzong at Wangdue Phodrang and right beside the fast flowing waters of the Dangchu River. The hotel has 25 rooms, and a suite, set in mature gardens. Each room, although simply furnished, is comfortable and comes with a private bathroom and balcony or terrace. The restaurant offers a range of dishes, from international to local, but specializes in Bhutanese vegetarian cuisine.
