Boseong, found in a deeply picturesque corner of South-Western Jeolla province, is known above all else for its association with green tea. Despite the booming natural industry, the area has resisted industrialisation and remains quite beautiful, and is ably explored on foot. Green Tea pervades all life here, with every restaurant and shop conforming to the theme. 24 hours should be enough for most people to enjoy all the area has to offer, before heading on to Gwangju and Jeonju to the north, or back along the southern coasts through the scenic counties of Hadong and Suncheon.
