Philippines Passport & Visa Information

Back to all travel tips

What passport and visa do I need to visit the Philippines?

Passport

It is a requirement of The Philippines’s Government that British visitors to the country possess a valid 10 year passport and that the passport has at least six months validity left after your return from holiday. Please check that your passport complies with this decree well in advance of travel. If you do not have a British passport please contact the Philippine Embassy to see what regulations do apply.

Visa

The government of the Philippines does not require British passport holders to obtain a visa for short stays. All visitors may enter the country without visas and may stay for 30 days provided they have tickets for their onward journey. If you intend to stay longer than 30 days in the Philippines you will need to obtain a visa from the Embassy in London.

For detailed information on obtaining a Philippines visa in advance of travel please contact the Philippine Embassy in London.
