The Cuyo Islands are a tiny archipelago located roughly midway between Palawan and Panay. The archipelago is made up for 45 tiny islets, the administrative centre of which is in Cuyo town on the largest island. Pamalican Island, home to the luxurious Amanpulo Resort, is the most famous of the Cuyo Islands and is located towards the north of the island group. This is true Robinson Cruise territory and ideal for isolated tropical island getaways. Local activities, such as they are, consist of watersports, diving, snorkelling, and boat trips. Amanpulo is the only resort on the island and offers one of the most exclusive and luxurious accommodation experiences to be found anywhere in the Philippines.
