Koh Bulon Lae
Located around 23km off the coast of Pakbara in Southern Thailand's Satun Province, the tiny island of Koh Bulon Lae is a paradise for those looking to get away from it all. The island remains under-the-radar of most tourists, and has yet to experience the development of some of the Andaman Coast's larger and more famous islands.
If you are looking for beach parties and big resorts this might not be the place for you. There's not much to do on Koh Bulon Lae beyond kicking back on the perfect white sand beach with a book and a cold drink. If you can bring yourself to stir from the beach, then the island is small enough to explore on foot. The sea here is crystal clear and great for snorkelling, or you can take a kayak or longtail boat to explore the island from the water.
As the island has yet to be developed for mass tourism most accommodation on Koh Bulon Lae is quite simple, but there are a few more comfortable guesthouses and resorts to be found. Our pick is the Pansand Resort, right on the beach.
