The Sepik Spirit is a river cruiser specifically constructed to navigate the waters of the Sepik and Karawari rivers. The vessel offers simple accommodation, with a private bathroom, in each of its 9 air-conditioned cabins - but this can seem quite luxurious compared to what else is available in this part of PNG! Elsewhere on board there is a restaurant where meals are served, an open-air observation deck and a bar / lounge area where drinks are served or lectures are given. Daily excursions along the river, to see local tribes and villages, are undertaken by local motorized boats.

The only access to the Sepik Spirit is by chartered light aircraft into the nearby Karawari airstrip, from Mount Hagen or Ambua Lodge, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
