Wildlife Experiences In The Philippines

07/08/2013Philippines News

The Philippines is a magnificent destination for a number of reasons. The beaches, the people, the food, the landscapes, are all good enough reasons to visit this fascinating tropical archipelago. One particularly underrated aspect of travel in the Philippines, however, is the variety and accessibility of its wildlife.

Bamboo Travel has recently launched a new tour – Wildlife Adventure in the Philippines – which will allow you to explore all the nature that the Philippines has to offer. On this trip, you have the opportunity to get up close with an enormous array of creatures both on the land, in the trees, and under the water.

The headline act is without doubt the chance to swim with Whalesharks in Donsol, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience which we recommend undertaking between January and March. You will also be taken out on the water again to watch dolphins and whales at play in the waters around the island of Pamilacan. In addition to this, you will also have the chance to see the world’s smallest primate - the Tarsier - while visiting the island of Bohol, famous for its unique Chocolate Hills. We have also included visits to the noted national parks of Olango Island (near Cebu) and Rajah Sikatuna (also on the island of Bohol) where thousands of migratory bird species can be spotted.

Top this off with a visit to an underground river, the world's smallest volcano and some of the most breath-taking beaches imaginable and you have a tour which does justice to everything that this mesmerising destination offers. Check out this and all our other tours to the Philippines.
