Wild Burma (20 days)

Our 'Wild Burma' tour is an adventure that takes in the very best wildlife opportunities currently available in Myanmar. The trip includes a variety of birdwatching excursions, a day learning to be a mahout at an elephant conservation project, a chartered boat trip to witness the extraordinary co-operative fishing technique shared between villagers and river dolphins, and a trek through the mountainous Chin state to Nat Ma Taung - the highest mountain in Western Burma. This latter trip will also provide great bird, animal, and plant-spotting opportunities as well as visits to local villages to encounter the unique cultures of the Chin tribes and their tattooed ladies. All of the destinations included in this tour are at present open to foreign travel, and represent the best and most varied wildlife experiences possible in this vastly undiscovered country.
